Varkala Beach

By Air-

The nearest airport to Varkala Beach is the Trivandrum International Airport, which is 54 kilometers from the beach. 

By Road-

Varkala Beach is also well-connected to other cities in Kerala by road. You can hire a taxi or take a bus from cities like Trivandrum, Kochi, and Kollam to reach Varkala. National Highway 66, also known as the Mumbai-Kanyakumari highway, passes through Varkala, making it easy to reach by road.

By Train-

Varkala has a railway station, which is connected to other large major cities in India like Delhi, Mumbai, and Chennai. Many express and local trains stop at Varkala railway station, which makes it a convenient option for travelers.

Once you reach Varkala, you can easily reach Varkala Beach by taking a taxi or an auto-rickshaw from the railway station or bus stand. The beach is located around 3 kilometers away from the Varkala railway station and can be reached in less than 10 minutes by road.

It’s also worth noting that Varkala is a small town, and many of the local guesthouses and hotels are located within walking distance of the beach. If you’re staying in the town, you can easily reach the beach on foot. Additionally, there are many bicycles and scooters available for rent in Varkala, which can be a fun and convenient way to explore the town and surrounding areas.
