At first, it looked like the movie won’t engage the audience but now the race has been won, meanwhile, Megastar Chiranjeevi surprised everyone the movie defeated all the sceptics and negative reviews which created a buzz a while ago, hence becoming the number one movie at the box office, both nationally and internationally.

Before the release of the movie, Balakrishna’s movie Veera Simha Reddy would be the big blockbuster and Waltair Veerayya has low expectations. However, the action sequence worked against the VSR, as a result, this movie became the audience’s first choice. This Sunday Waltair Veerayya had taken a lead over VSR and the movie successfully grossed approximately $1.7 million so far.
Balakrishna’s movie Veera Simha Reddy, on the other hand, set a new record for the best opening ever for a Balakrishna film. The film grossed a whopping Rs 23 crore on its first day in the state of Andhra Pradesh and over $700k in the United States. However, the film’s box office took just a significant hit which recovered on the third and fourth days. By the end of the first weekend, the film had grossed nearly $1 million (Rs 8 crore) in the United States.
And Both dubbed films, ‘Tegimpu’ and ‘Vaarasudu,’ opened well but did not gross as expected at the box office except in Tamil states movie goes well.
