The Pochera waterfalls are situated in Pochera village, Boath Mandal, Adilabad district in Telangana. This water is very beautiful and offers you a mesmerizing view of the big, deep, and wide waterfall. The Pochera waterfall is considered to be the deepest waterfall in Telangana with great width and height. The waterfalls fall from a height of 20 meters high and flow down with a great force which the waterfall named plunge waterfalls.
The source of this waterfall is the Godavari River, meanwhile, when the river flows through the mountain range Sahyadri, the river breaks into small streams. And these small streams meet at a certain point which becomes the source of the Pochera Falls. This rare waterfall is extremely beautiful and very scary at the same time. This is one of its kind waterfall in the entire state and is rarely found in the country.
The waterfall is surrounded by a greenery forest and is very less crowded. If you are a religious person or like to visit the temple then there is a Narasimha Swamy temple that is located near the waterfall.

The waterfall flows on a rocky surface which is entirely made from the purest form of granite. This gives the waterfall a slight emerald tinge position, making them all the more tantalizing. The rocky surface is much deeper and can hold a huge quantity of water. The bed of the waterfall is made up of the purest form of hard Granite. This hard material holds strong waterfalls with elasticity and gravity. However, the rocks around the falls have collected algae and moss on them, which makes them very slippery. So, you have to make sure to wear the grip shoe before walking on such types of rocks.
Best Time to Visit Pochera Waterfalls
To visit the majestic Pochera Waterfalls, the best timings are during the monsoon season or right after post-monsoon between August and December. The temperature ranges between 24 degrees Celsius and 32 degrees Celsius which keeps water at the ideal temperature for bathing and swimming. After the monsoon season, the flow of water starts decreasing from January to July. So, the best time you can visit and see the beautiful waterfall is at monsoon time or right after monsoon.
The waterfall is open from morning 6 am to 6 pm evening.
How To Reach Pochera Waterfalls
The nearest railway station is located at a distance of 49km, the Adilabad Railway Station. From there you can opt to reach the Pochera waterfall. If you are coming by Bus then, APSRTC Adilabad Bus Station is very close to the railway station. Many government and private buses are there to drop you at the waterfalls.
The waterfalls are located at a distance of 47km from Adilabad town, 37km from Nirmal town, and 7 km from Boath, and there is a motorable accessible road to the waterfall. There are hundreds of tourists and visitors come to this waterfall to witness its exclusive beauty and surroundings.
