Furthermore, the company said, that they are seeing people have more visual conversations on Twitter and are using GIFS, images, and videos to make these conversations more exciting and interesting. With this test, they are hoping to learn how people combine these different media formats to express themselves more creatively and expressively on Twitter beyond 280 characters.
