According to reports, actress Trisha will play the main female lead role opposite the actor Thalapathy Vijay in his new film, which was officially launched today in Chennai. The director Lokesh Kanagaraju, who previously directed the movie Master with Vijay and delivered a huge blockbuster with Kamal Haasan’s ‘Vikram, is directing the film.
However, the producers have not revealed many details about this project, but according to the reports, Trisha has also joined the team. Whereas, Vijay and Trisha Krishnan had previously appeared in five films together, including the Tamil remake of Okkadu, as Ghilli
It is believed that Vijay and Trisha will be seen together on the screen after a gap of 14 years. The last film in which the duplet shared screen space was Kuruvi. The 2008 action film was based on SS Rajamouli’s blockbuster movie Chhatrapati. The duo has worked together in blockbusters such as Thirupaachi, Ghilli, and Aathi. In the year 2004, the movie Ghilli was one of the biggest hits in both the careers of Vijay and Trisha.
