1. United States of America(USA)

The United States of America stands top in the list of the 10 most powerful countries in the world. It was founded as a constitutional republic made out of 50 states in the year 1783. This is a young country with a history spanning fewer than 250 years. The United Nations was the first of all the European colonies that had successfully separated. And it is the first-ever Nation whose sovereignty rests with the citizens and not with the government.

The United States is known for its diversity because of its immigration. The United States has a population of 328 million people currently. The country’s economy is the largest in the world and has a GDP of 21.4 trillion dollars and a per capita amount of 65,280 dollars.

The country is well known for its technological advancements and is one of the leading exporters of computers, electronics, machinery, vehicles, military equipment, food, chemical products, livestock, etc. In addition to technological development, the country also heavily influences most parts of the world in the entertainment industry with its popular music, movies, and TV shows.

9. Saudi Arabia

Saudi Arabia is the ninth most powerful country in the world that lies in the Arabian Peninsula. Saudi Arabia is home to 34.3 million people with almost 50 percent of its population being under 24 years of age.

10. United Arab Emirates

The United Arab Emirates is the 10th most powerful country in the world with a GDP of 421 billion dollars and a per capita of 69,958 dollars. Dubai and Abu Dubai are the major tourist places that attract millions of visitors annually.
