Hopefully, you are a winter lover, to be honest, I am not but winters have something special, which is what I feel because when you go around in winter the chilled air touches your face and gets Goosebumps on your body, which shivers your body in the chilled winters. There are lots of places in the country that are easily affordable, and budget-free destinations for you to visit and explore. So, let’s read about those places which can easily be explored to keep the affordable budget in mind.
Mukteshwar Village in Uttarakhand

Mukteshwar- is situated at the level of 2285m above sea level, in the state of Uttarakhand. Mukteshwar got its name after a 350-old temple called Mukteshwar Dham. The peak of the mountain, where the temple is located provides you with an amazing and spectacular view of the Himalayan range.

Munnar, Kerala

Munnar- hope you know about the place, Munnar is located in the Western Ghats of Kerala in the Idukki district. Mainly it is the Tea estate which will amaze you with the view. You can spot some endangered species like Nilgiri Tahr and Neelakurinji. You can do camping and trekking at the place, the place is surrounded by lakes, parks, and forests.

Auli- Auli is located in the Chamoli district of the state of Uttarakhand, this is a small town that is located 2800m above sea level and offers you the most spectacular viewpoints. Sattal- Sattal means seven lakes, the place which is surrounded by seven lakes and is the best place for nature lovers. You can spend time in peaceful surroundings and listening birds’ chirpings, can do trekking and camping here also.

Manali, Himachal pradesh

Manali-this is one of my favorite places have been, you can do many things in Manali like trekking, camping, jumping, rafting, paragliding, and mountaineering in the Panjal Mountains. The place where you will feel like heaven, I would advise you to visit the place for once. It will also offer you the best and most amazing views of the mountains and valleys.
How to reach- Road – 6-8h from Manali

A place to stay- Rashpian Cottage
Binsar, Uttarakhand

Binsar- so this place is 95km far from the Nainital, and located in the Kumaon Himalayas and can able to watch the Himalayas peaks and mountains. One of the best places to visit and trek in the misty mountains. It also has a wildlife sanctuary, should visit it once.
How to reach- Train – Kathgodam and drive 119km

Coorg – Scotland of India

Coorg- it is known as the Scotland of India, now you can imagine how beautiful it is. Coorg is situated in the district of Karnataka. It is the western ghat of southwestern Karnataka. It is all surrounded by hills and rivers, the scene, and the natural beauty will amaze you seriously. Coorg is the hill station which is located at 50m above sea level.

Darjeeling

Darjeeling- is a very beautiful destination to visit around. Darjeeling is located in the Eastern Himalayas. No doubt the place is called the queen of hills and totally a paradise for nature lovers. It is covered with hills and offers you spectacular views of the hills and mountains. It is situated at the 2050m above sea level.
How to reach- by Train- nearest railway station is New Jalpaiguri.

Shillong

Shillong- is one of the most beautiful travel destinations in India and the less expensive or budget-free destination in India. You know the Britishers called it the Scotland of the East because of its beautiful waterfalls, lakes, mountains, and crystal clear views. The place has the most affordable hotels and spots. Also, there are other places which you can visit like Umiam Lake, Bara Bazaar, Shilong Peak, Grotto Church, All Saints Church, Butterfly Museum, Spread Eagle Falls, and Elephant Falls.
All the above place I have mentioned is the most affordable place which matches your budget but that doesn’t mean there are not any other places that you cannot afford. There are other places as well which are budget free and the most beautiful places. I have just mentioned which I know well. You will have to explore if you want to go some other places apart from those above. The places I have mentioned cost around 2-8 thousand maximum not more than that. But I must tell you, once visit these places and get a lifetime memorable experience.
