It is a temple that has been constructed specially for the Goddess Peddamma and also known as the Goddess Durga Mata and there is a huge crowd of devotees every week not only from Hyderabad but also from the nearby districts to offer their prayers and the huge crowd on during the nine days of Navaratri. There is a story behind this temple, After the demon was executed, the goddess was thirsty and came to the well nearby to gulp water then a sphere found an idol of the goddess.
