Technology: The global chip shortage and supply chain have hit electrical vehicle quality across the board, together with TESLA that continues its development or continues its trends of shoddy manufacturing.
And according to the consumer research and analytics firm JD Power, the Elon musk has ranked on the seventh list from the bottom while polestar has ranked the last. The JD power has found the 226 problems per 100-tesla models or vehicles.

The general motor bucks the trends with an improvement in the initial quality that lands it in the highest rank position among automotive corporations. It has given the many challenges automakers and their dealers had to face in the past year, it’s somewhat surprising that initial quality didn’t fall even more dramatically, in addition, he also said that the automakers continue to launch more new vehicles that are more technologically complicated, said by David Amodeo, the director of global automotive at JD Power.
Among all the brands, Buicks quality improved by 17 PP100 year over year and ranked highest or the first place overall from the 12th place last year. Based on this year’s responses from 84,165 purchasers and lessees of new 2022 model-year vehicles who have been surveyed previously within the ownership period.
Only nine of the top thirty-three brands improved their quality years over years. Amongst all the premium manufacturers of electric vehicles, Genesis (156 PP100) ranks highest and ranks fourth in total. Whereas Lexus (157 PP100) has ranked second and Cadillac (163 PP100) has ranked third.
The shortage of microchips has caused automakers for looking out for alternative solutions and in some cases, the new vehicles are being shipped without some features installed in them. After, communicating with them about the changes in feature availability, as well as when such features will be reinstalled, is critical to their satisfaction. Both the all-new models and continuing models increase in problems this year, though all-new models are more worsened the most (23 PP100).
