SriLanka Cricketer Chamika Karunaratne Fills Petrol worth Rs 10000
SriLanka, the entire country has been hit the financial crisis, and everyone is going through a rough time. This economic crisis in Sri Lanka barely left anyone unaffected whether it is a celebrity or the general public. Everyone gets affected by this. And in this, the shortage of fuel is one of the biggest problems that the country is facing, the country is running out of fuels.
Sri Lanka’s government had to shut down the schools, offices, and colleges until the country gets enough fuel. Ever and after the country gets fuel, the supply will be limited and the people have to stand up in line for days.
The cricketer Chamika Karunaratne also hasn’t found the fuel easy. He has to go to his cricket practice daily in Colombo and other different places, and this crisis led down in line, he is been standing in queue for fuel for the past 2 days. Due to this fuel crisis, he cannot even go to the practices and for two days he did not go anywhere because he was in a long queue of fuel. And after this long wait for the fuel, he filled of Rs. 10000 which lasts two-three days only. He also thanked India for helping their country in these difficult times.
He further said, India is like a brother country and they are helping us a lot in these financial crises. They have problems, and India is supporting them in tough times.
