Shruti Haasan reveals she is battling PCOS
Actress Shruti Hassan who is popularly known as the daughter of the actor Kamal Hassan is quite active on social media and shares every aspect of her life with her fans.
Recently the actor took to Instagram and confessed about her health condition that she is struggling with PCOS and Endometriosis. The actress has shared a video of her workout and had written a lengthy caption revealing her struggle with the symptoms like bloating and metabolic challenges.

The actor has mentioned that she has accepted this condition as a natural obstacle and is tackling the disorder with some lifestyle changes like eating healthy, sleeping well, and enjoying the workout.
On her Instagram profile, Shruti Haasan stated, ” I have been facing some of the worst hormonal issues with my PCOS and endometriosis. It is a tough fight for all the women out there who are battling hormonal imbalance, bloating, and metabolic challenges.”
She has encouraged and motivated the women by saying that rather than looking at it as a fight, ” I choose to accept it as a natural movement that my body goes through to do at its best and I say thank you by eating right, sleeping well and enjoying my workout.”
Shruti Hassan has posted a video of her workout in the gym. In that video, Shruti Hassan performs a variety of exercises from yoga to stretches and doing a combination of bodyweight exercises, cardio, and working on the core. She also added in the captions that ” my body isn’t perfect right now but, my heart is. Keep fit, keep happy and let those happy hormones flow!!!”
Shruti Hassan has also added that eating right and staying fit are the two most important factors in battling these hormonal disorders.
What are PCOS and Endometriosis
PCOS (Polycystic ovarian syndrome) is a hormonal disorder that leads to the formation of small cysts on the external edges of the ovaries. Endometriosis is a health condition caused by the abnormal growth of cells outside the uterus.
People suffering from PCOS and endometriosis have symptoms like irregular Menstruation cycle, growth of unwanted hair, bloating, overweight, metabolic issues, hair fall, etc. Both the hormonal disorders have negative effects on the body and proper medical intervention is needed to avoid further complications.
