The famous actor Vikram is known for his impressive performance in Ponniyin Selvan 2, has unfortunately injured himself during rehearsals for his upcoming movie, Thangalaan. Suryanarayanan, the actor’s manager recently announced on Twitter that Vikram suffered from a broken rib and will be taking a brief break from shooting Ranjith’s film.
In response to this, fans have expressed their support and wished the actor a rapid and quick recovery. The upcoming movie of the actor is Thangalaan which is based on the true events that took place in the Kolar gold mines a few decades ago, with Vikram featuring the chief of an indigenous tribe. The movie is set in during the colonial era and explores the issue of land rights.
Gnanvelraja is producing the film, which also features Pasupathy, Malavika Mohanan, Parvathy Thiruvothu, and Daniel Caltagirone. The music is composed by GV Prakash Kumar and the movie is expected to be released next year.
