Sai Pallavi Lands in controversy with Her Religious comments

Hyderabad: Sai Pallavi is one heroine who tried to stay away from controversies with unnecessary comments. She is one of the most loved actresses in Tollywood especially. Now Sai Pallavi Has made some unwanted comments in an interview given to a youtube channel which sparked the fire.

During Youtube Interview Sai Pallavi Said She is Ideologically neutral and stated, “The film ‘The Kashmir Files’ depicts the assassination of Kashmiri Pandits. A man was recently slain for carrying a cow because he was suspected of being a Muslim. The perpetrators shouted ‘Jai Shri Ram’ after killing the victim. Where is the line drawn between what occurred in Kashmir and what occurred recently?”

The actress’s comments on the lynching of an alleged cow smuggler triggered did not go well. Now, this statement has sparked a controversy on social media and it provoked a unit of Bajrang Dal to file a complaint in Hyderabad.

They asked Sai Pallavi to apologize to the entire country, particularly to Kashmiri Pandits, for her “venomous” statements. They added that if she did not do so, “the situation will deteriorate further”.

While some of Sai Pallavi’s admirers have defended her views on social media, others have expressed their unhappiness.
