The well-known director SS Rajamouli amazed the world with his recent creation of the RRR movie. The movie has released in Japan on the 21st of October and emerged as the second highest-grossing Indian movie in the country. This movie has beaten his own creation, meanwhile, he has beaten his own record with Baahubali 2.
RRR features Ram Charan and Jr NTR and this movie was released on 209 screens and 31 Ima screens in 44 cities of Japan and has become the fastest Indian movie to enter the JPY300 million club and earned more than Rs 17 crore in Japan.
RRR is running successfully in Japan. RRR’s official Twitter account has shared some pictures of the audience celebrating the movie. Well, reportedly, RRR is expected to have earned JPY305 million, approximately Rs 17.9 crores, in 34 days. Meanwhile, Rajnikanth’s movie Muthu continues to be the highest-grossing film in Japan, with a box office collection of JPY400 million or Rs 22 crore.
The RRR team including SS Rajamouli, Ram Charan, and NTR went to Japan to promote the movie, it’s just a few weeks ago. RRR movie is set in the backdrop of the pre-Independence era and also about a close friendship and brotherhood between two revolutionaries. Apart from Ram Charan and NTR the movie also stars Ajay Devgn and Alia Bhatt in major important roles. RRR has grossed more than the Rs 1000 crore mark worldwide.
