
Introduction-
Roopa Koduvayur was born on 27th December 1996 in Vijayawada into a Hindu family. She originally hails from Vijayawada also. Roopa is a Telugu actress famous for her acting skills.
Educational Qualification-
If we talk about her educational details, she completed her schooling at Amali English Medium High School, Vijayawada, and then joined MBBS Medical Program from Katuri Medical College, Guntur. She wanted to become a cancer specialist. She started learning the classical dance Bharatnatyam and Kuchipudi at the age of 6.
Roopa Koduvayur is also a classical dancer and, she received the Natya Mayuri Award from Kala Nilayam for her expertise. Also, she received various awards from the golden hands of Sri Mangalampalli Balamurali Krishna and Anjali.
Family Details & Personal Life-
When she was in school, she used to follow a hectic school, going to dancing classes, performances, practice, school, fests, etc from an early age. Her father is an Army officer and her mother is a homemaker and a cancer survivor. Her mother’s trauma of cancer forced her to pursue a career in MBBS.
Profession life-
Roopa rose good fame three years ago after releasing a YouTube video, in the video she performed a cover song of the popular Baahubali movie Saahore Baahubali on the beach. After that, Roopa started her career journey at the age of 18 and worked in short movies and Telugu movies. She made her acting debut with the short movie Fauji which was directed by Mallikarjun and produced by Thota Pandu Rangaiah. Then she did another short movie, NO- Say Yes to No. And her performance was amazing in both of the movies which led her to pursue a big Telugu project Uma Maheswara Ugra Roopasya movie, which became one of the best movies of the year 2020. The movie was directed by Venkatesh Maha and she played the main lead role opposite big Telugu actor Satyadev.
After the release of Uma Maheswara Ugra Roopasya’s movie on Netflix OTT, she received huge appreciation from Tollywood celebrities and filmmakers for her performance.
Awards & Achievements
Roopa Koduvayur won the Best Debutant Female Actor Award for her UMAR at South Indian International Movie Awards (SIIMA), which brings South Indian cinema into the global limelight. And in dancing, she won the Natya Mayuri Award from Kala Nilayam.
She has achieved good till now at a very young age, and she continues to struggle in the film Industry to make her place
