On 14th August 2022, the death of a legendary veteran stock market investor Rakesh Jhunjhunwala left silence in everybody’s heart. Now, after a few months of his death, the late investor’s wife, Rekha Jhunjhunwala, has placed a spot on the Forbes India Rich List 2022.
Rekha just not replaced her husband on the annual list but also moved up six spots. Rekha Jhunjhunwala has been ranked the 30th richest person in India. the current net worth of a 59-year-old lady is approx Rs. 47,650.76 crores. Even reports said that Rekha, holds Titan Co, star health & Allied Insurance Co, metro brands, and also Tata motors Ltd.
In the Forbes 2021 list, late investor Rakesh Jhunjhunwala had moved up 18 spots and ranked as the 36th richest person in the country but now his wife replaced his rank by ranked at the position 30th in the Forbes list. Rakesh Jhunjhunwala, known as India’s Warren Buffet died of cardiac arrest at the age of 62 on 14th August 2022. And after a few weeks his latest venture, low-cost air carrier Akasa Air took to the skies for the first time. The veteran investor was even seen in wheelchairs at public events due to his health. Rakesh Jhunjhunwala was suffering from several kidney-related illnesses and ischemic heart disease also which causes his cardiac arrest.
