The company has shared a link that tells how to transfer the WhatsApp data from Android to iOS, they shared all this on the micro-blogging platform.

The WhatsApp Company wrote on Twitter that this is the new way to keep the chats, now you will have the ability to transfer your entire chat history from an Android to an iOS device and vice versa. Now you will have the freedom to switch to and from your preferred devices.

It is mentioned that if any users are moving from Android to an iOS and they can transfer their account information, profile photo, chat history, media, individual chats, group chats, and settings but they cannot transfer their call history or display name.

The WhatsApp Company further said that iPhone users can migrate their WhatsApp data using the ‘Move to iOS’ app. After downloading the app, Move to iOS, the users can transfer their most important things like photos, media, videos, files, messages, contacts, calendars, email accounts, and now including the Whatsapp chat history from the Android to an iOS phone or iPhone.

Meanwhile, the WhatsApp platform is working on a new feature that allows users to post voice notes on their status updates. Yes, the new feature, it is so amazing Nah? A voice note shared as a status update is called the “voice status”.
This new feature will only be shared with the people you choose within your status privacy settings, and the voice note will be end-to-end encrypted as other images and videos shared to your status.

You should take care of some of the things while moving your data that your Android phone should be running on Android OS Lollipop, SDK 21 or above, or above Android 5 installed on your Android device. And an iPhone version should be iOS 15.5 or above this.
