Nayanthara Fans Angry With Karan Johar

Tollywood: The comments Karan Johar has made about Nayanthara Stardom on one of the recent episodes of Koffee with Karan have enraged many of the Nayanatara fans criticizing Karan Johar on social media. 

Recently Samantha Ruth Prabhu made an entry on the Talk Show Koffee with Karan along with Akshay Kumar on Thursday. In the episode, Samantha spoke about her life, career, and even the divorce from Naga Chaitanya. However, one particular discussion she had with host Karan Johar has not gone down too well with some fans of Nayanthara. 

Nayanthara fans have not criticized Samantha but Karan Johar as they feel the filmmaker made Nayanatara inferior in front of her co-star Samantha on the show. 

In the show, Karan Johar asked Samantha who she thought was the biggest female actor in the south at present. Samantha Ruth Prabhu has replied referring to the recent release Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kadhal, she said “Well I just did a film with Nayanthara.” Samantha thinks Nayanthara is the biggest actor across the four film industries in South India. 

To that, Karan Johar responded, “Well not on my list!” He then went on to refer to a recent list brought about by Ormax media of top female actors in the country. It had Samantha as the number one female actor in the country. 

This disappointed Nayanatara fans and mentioned that “Karan Johar needlessly threw shade at Nayanthara”. This comment was exchanged and shared on several social media platforms.
