Finally, the most awaited movie Dasara has released on 30 March 2023. The movie is produced by Sudhakar Cherukuri and directed by Srikanth Odela. The movie features the Tollywood stars Nani, Shine Tom Chacho, Keerthy Suresh, Dheekshith Shetty, and Samuthirakani.
The movie Dasara was buzzing around since the day it was announced. The movie is based on the story of three childhood friends and set in the backdrop of the 90s in Veerapally village in Telangana. And the movie is revolved around how these friends get entangled and change forever due to politics, silk bar, and coal mining.
Let’s talk about the performances in the movie. Nani is the lead actor in this movie and he literally shines throughout the film. He transformed his personality entirely and looked natural. He performed an outstanding and very energetic performance of Nani’s career. Whereas, Kirti Suresh is another leading actress in the movie who acts as Vennala. However, the trio of friendships has been captured well in the first half and is very exciting to watch. The people, their friendship, their daily lives, and their habits are been presented in the first part.
After the interval which obviously comes as a shocker to the audience and in the second half screenplay is in parts, the movie provides an immersive experience through the entire movie. well, the hope raises in the second half but nothing changes. However, in that part, an important scene is revealed and ends with a little suspense. The director focuses on their relationship. Here the screenplay is uneven, some parts are boring. Finally, the whole movie is built towards the climax, which is thrillingly handled. In the end, would like to say that Dasara offers terrific visuals and performances that make it worth watching.
Dasara has everything to watch, it has emotions, friendships, comedy, drama, thrill, and everything that one is looking for. The flow of emotions and the character’s things all feel natural and all credit goes to Srikanth Odela and Nani for bringing the world of Dasara to life. The chromatography is done by Santhyan Sooryan and is brilliant and the action choreography is mind-blowing.
