The full name of the temple is Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple which is situated at Nampally Gutta and is a holy shrine that attracts many devotees throughout the year. The temple is located on a small hillock in the middle of the Vemulawada – Karimnagar highway. It is a small temple that is dedicated to Lord Lakshmi Narasimha, an avatar of Lord Vishnu. The idol was carved on the rock around which the temple was built.
Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple Nampally Gutta is located in Nampally Village, Karimnagar near Vemulawada. People say that one day lord Shiva came to the dream of the ruler of the area when he was a leper and told him to build a temple for him in the middle of vemulawada and suddenly disappeared. This small temple doesn’t look like an ancient temple. At the start of the temple meanwhile entrance, you can see a statue of Lord Narasimha which is breaking his way out of a pillar.

Additionally, there is a temple of Naga Devta on the way to the Narasimha temple. The temple was built in a model of a Snake. Visitors can enter the shrine through the snake’s belly which is a long, winding tunnel. There are several statues also which tell the story of Prahalada and Hiranyakasipu. At the end of the tunnel, the statue of Lord Narasimha killing the demon Hiranyakasipu is present.

There are 3 ways to reach the temple, by road, by air, and by bus, any route can be opted for reaching the temple.
By Air- The nearest Airport is Hyderabad Rajiv Gandhi International Airport at a distance of around 150 km. The estimated travel time traveling from Rajiv Gandhi International Airport Hyderabad to nampally is 3 hours and 57 minutes by road.
By Train- The nearest Railway stations are Karimnagar and Kamareddy. Karimnagar is located at a distance of 22.7 km and Kamareddy is located at a distance of 66.5 Km.
By Road- There are many frequent buses that run to Rajanna Sircilla district by Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) and from there you can reach Nampally through various modes of transportation on road like auto, bus, and car.
The visiting timing of the temple is morning 9 am to 5:30 pm.
