Well, there can be different types of medical issues that can lead to female fertility problems, including Ovulation disorders that affect the release of eggs, hormonal disorders like PCODs (Polycystic ovary syndrome), hyperprolactinemia, and thyroid problems. Here are such problems-

  • The Uterine or Cervical abnormalities like polyps or fibroids in the uterus.
  • fallopian tube damage or blockage, which is mainly caused by pelvic inflammatory disease.
  • Endometriosis occurs when tissue that normally lines the inside of the uterus is grown outside the uterus.
  • Primary ovarian insufficiency is called early menopause, which occurs when the ovaries stop working and menstruation ends before the age of 40.
  • Pelvic adhesions are the bands of scar tissue that bind organs after pelvic infection, appendicitis, or abdominal or pelvic surgery.
  • However, Age also plays a role in fertility. Delaying pregnancy can decrease the ability to conceive a child. A decline in the quantity and quality of your eggs with age makes it harder to conceive.

To reduce the chances of infertility you have to maintain a healthy lifestyle, that can help you increase fertility.

  • Maintaining a healthy weight, being overweight, or being underweight can decrease the chances of normal ovulation.
  • Preventing STIs (Sexually transmitted infections) like chlamydia and gonorrhea are the main causes of infertility that usually occurs from unprotected intercourse.
