1. You feel puffy and bloated– water s present in the body and after getting sodium, it always follows the sodium and our kidneys use this to regulate the blood volume and fluid in the body. So, when you eat a large amount of salt which causes blood sodium levels to rise, the kidney compensates by retaining the fluid levels to balance. You should drink plenty of water to reduce the effects of high-salt food.

The restaurant food is rich in salt and any high-salt food can trigger intense thirst you need to drink water to lower your sodium concentration. After intaking high-salt food, and increase in blood sodium the receptors in the kidneys and brain trigger the thirst sensation.
3. Headaches– if you are suffering from regular or occasional headaches, in this situation salt might be the reason. a high salt diet can trigger blood pressure and leads to headache. Even in a survey, it is found that those intaking high salt diet had the highest numbers of headaches.
