There are lots of hypotheses on area 51, even people are thinking that aliens used to live there. Just before revealing the mystery of area 51, many things come forward about area 51. The things revealed that area 51 is the top secret military base of the United States that is situated in the middle of the Nevada desert, a dried-out lake bed surrounded by mountains. Even though no one can spy on area 51, it is heavily guarded.
Well, there are some rumors about Area 51 that world knows. And one of the biggest rumors is that this base has aliens or base is related to some alien activity. It was the time of 1989 when a man speaks about his work and revealed that he has worked at area 51 and helped to design the flight technology modeled after extraterrestrial spaceships. He also claims that he made some real flying saucers that flew with anti-gravity technology. But when this same thing was asked by the government, they denied all this. But later, people in the area started spotting a lot of UFOs in the night sky and were scared of this unknown object which led to raising many theories. And since then people started believing that area 51 has an alien base or something related to the aliens which is why there is a mystery and no one knows about the base specifically.
And this thing raised a lot of questions in people’s minds. The Government also claimed that Area 51 didn’t exist. As time flew, many years passed, and they started revealing some information about the base. But it is still top-secret, what is going on there nobody knows. To be more, the data reveals that Area 51 opened in 1955 as a development site for new combat aircraft, like stealth bombers and spy planes. One early Area 51 invention was the high-altitude spy plane, which explains many of the areas that spotted UFOs.
And People weren’t used to seeing light so high in the sky generally some sightings were spotted that were called in by commercial pilots who even didn’t understand what could be flying above them. At the time, the officials said that these sightings were nature research or high-altitude weather research. Some people still don’t know about the government account of Area 51’s activities. The base is definitely forced to imagine that Area 51 is a secret alien research lab where they keep the extraterrestrial remains of the Roswell crash.

No one knows the real answer to it but it is said that area 51 is a military base. And here are the things that were revealed about the base that we generally know about it.
- Area 51 is a U.S. Air Force military base field that is situated at Groom Lake in southern Nevada.
- Area 51 is an active military installation. It is administered by Edwards Air Force Base situated in southern California.
- Area 51 is not accessible to the general public and is under 24-hour surveillance.
- The only confirmed use of the installation is as a flight-testing facility at the base.
- During World War II 1939–45 the U.S. Army Air Corps used the site for the manufacture of heavy guns for military purposes.
- In 1955, the area was selected by the Central Intelligence Agency as a testing site for the Lockheed U-2 aircraft, a high-altitude survey aircraft. Pres. Dwight D. Eisenhower in 1953–61 authorized the testing, which was to be conducted under the code name Project AQUA TONE.
- In 1956, Area 51 was used to develop other aircraft, including the A-12 which is also known as the OXCART reconnaissance plane, and the stealth fighter F-117 Nighthawk.
- On June 25, 2013, the CIA approved for releasing the documents chronicling the history of the U-2 and OXCART programs. The release of the documents marked the first time in American history that the U.S. government finally acknowledged the existence of Area 51.
- According to the CIA, test flights of the U-2 and subsequent military aircraft account for the UFO spotting in the area.
- Area 51 employees reach the base by airplane. They usually fly in and out of a restricted terminal at McCarran International Airport on one of several unmarked planes that are only permitted to fly through the airspace above Area 51 (airspace R-4808N).
Something that we don’t know is why Area 51 is called “Area 51.” And most importantly, U.S. government officials have not provided any further information about the research currently being conducted inside the base.
After World War II there were frequent reports of spotting UFOs in the night sky, and it was very continuous. People were spotting UFOs and claimed that there is aliens near area 51. And some reports found that there is UFOs found and since then research has been started on unidentified objects UFOs became a major subject of interest following the development of rocketry after World War II and were thought by some researchers to be intelligent extraterrestrial life that visiting Earth.
The first well-known UFO was seen in 1947 when businessman Kenneth Arnold claimed to see a group of nine high-speed objects near Mount Rainier in Washington while flying his small plane. And the speed of crescent-shaped objects is a thousand miles per hour and moved like saucers skipping on water.
