
Northeast is famous for its natural beauty and incredible places, but moreover, northeast people have much more capable than we know. A northeastern girl Eksha Hungma Subba is a police officer but also a boxer, and a biker. She has completed her schooling at Sombaria and Sombaria senior secondary school.
Eksha was born in the small village of Rumbuk, Sikkim to Aitaraj and Sukrani Subba. Eksha grew up chasing dreams and interests. She always wanted to become a supermodel since her childhood and also a boxer. And to follow her dreams, Eksha joined the police force at a very young age, and she also wanted to become MTV Supermodel. She also joined the MTV show and was among the top 9 contestants on the reality TV show MTV Supermodel of the Year Season 2.
Journey of achieving dreams
Eksha joined the Sikkim police force at a very small age, during her college at the age of 19 from Nar Bahadur Bhandari Degree College, Tadong. Being from a small village, it is a very huge thing to get a government job but it also requires the strict 14 months of training before being transferred to the state reserve line.
If we talk about Eksha’s love for boxing, it is her passion and she joined a class for fitness. She is also a national-level boxer and represented her state in many national tournaments. She also likes to ride bikes. The passion developed when her father was teaching bike to her brother and she was standing there and observing. Her father encourages her to try and learn it, you can also do it. Since then, bike riding has also become her passion.

After becoming a police officer, a bike rider, and a boxer. She had only one dream left to fulfill she wanted to become an MTV Supermodel of the Year. With the support of her family, she auditioned for it and got selected. One of the judges of the show, Malaika Arora appreciated her during the show when she introduced herself. Even Malaika has given her a standing ovation and said that such women need to be saluted.

She has also participated in modeling and was among the top 10 finalists at Positude Miss Sikkim 2018. After showing her modeling skills on a reality TV MTV show, she now wanted to become a model on a big international platform. In an interview with Sikkim Express media, she said that she used her police training to her advantage in the beauty contest.
