As we say old is gold. The old-gold era is ending one by one, the present day, one more Tollywood legendary actress, a gem was lost. The veteran actress Jamuna is no more, and this news shocked the entire nation. She was born in Hampi as Jana Bai in 1936 August, and later she was brought up in Guntur.

At the age of just 15-16, she started acting at a very young age. Her debut was Garikapati Rajarao’s Puttillu in 1953. The legendary actress acted in many national cinemas, like Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Hindi cinemas in her career before getting old.

When she came into the Hindi cinema, she debuted with the famous movie Mooga Manasulu in the 1967 remake Milan. She is very well known for her illustrious career and known for her bond with the late Savitri.

Jamuna gave it all up when she married Professor Juluri Ramana Rao, who was a zoology professor in 1965, but he passed away in 2014 due to a cardiac arrest. Jamuna is now survived by a son Vamsee and a daughter Sravanthi. Tollywood celebs took to social media to mourn her passing, and to pay their last respects to the legendary actress.
