Hyderabad: Two time National Award winner Bollywood Lady Superstar Kangana Ranaut is not just known for her acting prowess but also for her daring nature. The curly-haired actress never shies away to voice her opinion on public platforms. She regularly expresses her opinions on films, nepotism in Bollywood, injustice, national politics and many other issues.
The controversial actress shares a good rapport with writer Vijayendra Prasad as he provided the story for his hit film ‘Manikarnika’ and was even a part of her last outing ‘Thalaivi’ which got a lot of critical acclaim. She seems to have watched ‘RRR’ recently as she showered praises on India’s top director SS Rajamouli who happens to be Vijayendra Prasad’s son.
She posted on her story which says, “Rajamouli sir has proved he’s the greatest Indian film director ever. He has never ever given an unsuccessful film.” She further added, “Yet the best thing about him not his success but his humility as an artist, sadagi (simplicity) as a person and his great love for his nation and his dharma. Great to have a role model like you sir. Sincerely your fan.”
‘RRR’ which came out on 25th March is registering record numbers at the box office. The film already crossed a gross of 500 crores in the first three days. It crossed 100 crores in the Hindi market by Tuesday and is expected to be the second-highest collecting South Indian film in the North market after ‘Baahubali 2’. It even surpassed the 10 million mark at overseas and is creating records in Telugu states too.
