Here is the exciting news for all Jio users, the Jio Air Fiber is a 5G wireless hotspot device that provides ultra-high-speed internet without the need for wires or cables. The users can simply plug in the device and complete the installation process digitally to start using Jio Fiber internet wirelessly.
Jio AirFiber will provide Giga-bit speed with ultra-low latency, making it ideal for multiplayer gaming and cloud gaming. The Jio AirFiber Home Gateway allows customers to host a virtual PC on the cloud, known as Jio Cloud PC. It is also an end-to-end wireless solution, making it ideal for homes and places where Jio Fiber cannot be installed.
Although Jio AirFiber’s benefits sound exciting, all the users are very curious about its data plan and tariff plans. There is no confirmation yet if it will come with unlimited data, but it is expected to work similarly to the JioFi Hotspot device. Its tariff plans are yet to be announced, but it is speculated that it will have limited data per month plans similar to the JioFi 4G Hotspot device. It also can be installed in areas where Jio Fiber broadband is not available, provided the area is Jio 5G enabled.
Jio AirFiber will launch soon this year in 2023. The commercial launch of Jio AirFiber 5G Home Gateway services is aimed at Jio Fiber customers, with plans to target 100 million homes through Jio Fiber and Air Fiber services in the next two to three years. Airtel is also planning to launch Airtel wireless fiber service soon.
