The Tollywood actress, Pavithra was born in Mysore and bought up in Hyderabad. Her father’s name is Lokesh, who was an actor and her mother is a teacher. She has one younger brother Adi. Her father actor Lokesh died when she was in the ninth standard. She wanted to become a civil servant. But she decided to help her mother after her father’s death.
She started following her father’s footsteps toward an acting career. As soon she completed her graduation in commerce field from SBRR Mahajana first grade college, Mysore and then she appeared for the civil services exam but could crack it. And then she moves forward to build her career in acting and shifted to Bangalore.

She made her first debut at the age of 16 and since then she has appeared in over 150 Kannada movies, one of her movies, Naayi Neralu (2006), was awarded for the best actress at the Karnataka State film Award.
After she completed her studies, she started her acting career with a Film named Thalli. She then acted in many short films and Web series like Modern Panimanishi (Khelpedia), I’m Impressed (Satyabhama), Nannatho Mirzapur (Pakkinti Kurradu), Rowdy News (Rowdy Fellow), Arey Entra Idhi (Nimmakaya Soda), and Crazy Wife ISmart Husband (Aadhan Talkies).
