India-born Parag Agrawal is the new CEO of Twitter

Twitter Chief Executive Officer or CEO Parag Agarwal, took to office recently. Agarwal, who joined Twitter in 2007, replaced Jack Dorsey, the co-founder of Twitter as the CEO. Recently, Agarwal’s alma mater IIT Bombay recalled Agarwal and his commitment towards his studies. Professor Supratim Biswas, Computer Science, and Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, spoke fondly about Agarwal. The entire video can be watched here.

After completing his studies at the Indian Institue of Technology, IIT Bombay, Parag went to the United States of America to pursue his Ph.D. in Computer Science from Standford University. Parag has been associated with Twitter for a while. He eventually became the Chief Technology Officer of Twitter in 2017. While taking over the new role, Parag mentioned that the purpose of the company has never been more important. He also highlighted, “There is no limit to what we can do together.”
