Technology: Google users have announced a new feature for all the Google Meet users, that from now they will soon be able to unmute themselves by holding down the spacebar and mute themselves again by releasing it the same.
Google said that they will make it easier for users to participate in their meetings by quickly unmuting themselves to say something without any delay. This feature will also help in situations when you forget to mute again after unmuting yourself.
The Google Company said in a BlogSpot, that this new feature in Meet is OFF by default and then can be enabled in the Google Meet settings. Moreover, it changed how the Hey Google voice controls work for Google Meet Hardware devices.
They further added, that after this new update, the Google AI Assistant can only be active when a device is not in a meeting and within 10 minutes of an upcoming meeting. Google has also launched a new feature that will allow you to create high-performance functions and that will support built-in Sheets formula constructs.
Users can also now use visitor sharing to allow non-google users to upload their content or creates any file within the shared drives which are owned by organizations and users on Google Workspace.
