Fashion Designer Prathyusha Garimela Dies by Suicide in Hyderabad
A very popular fashion designer, Prathyusha Garimella was found dead in her Banjara Hills Apartment in Hyderabad. Going into the details Prathyusha was found dead under suspicious circumstances in her home in Banjara Hills on Saturday afternoon.
According to the reports, 35 years old Prathyusha stayed in flat in Film Nagar area in the Banjara Hills police station limits. On Saturday afternoon, when she did not respond to security checks, the security guards alerted the police who reached the house. After breaking the door of the house open, the police went inside and found her body in the bathroom. A bottle of chemicals was also recovered from the washroom, police said.
A bottle of carbon monoxide was found in her room, which the police suspect she inhaled. The police have filed a case of suspicious death. Her family and friends have also been informed.
It is being said that Prathyusha was suffering from depression. However, an investigation is underway. Garimella is the daughter of retired IRS officer Krishna Rao.
The police have shifted the body to the Osmania General Hospital mortuary for autopsy and have booked a case of suspicious death. Relatives, who were in Delhi, have been informed, police said.
Prathyusha was the founder of her own fashion label, with her works sold under the brand name Prathyusha Garimella.
