Sri Rama Gundalu is located on Genco Hills, Ramagundam town, Peddapalli District, Telangana State, India. They are one of the oldest temples in India. The Genco hills have 108 springs and it is believed that Sri Rama came here during his 13-year exile.

Ramagundam town is present in the Peddapalli district of the Indian state of Telangana. Ramagundam is known as the biggest and most populous city in the Peddapalli district. As of the 2015 census, Ramagundam city had a population of 287,644, making it the 5th most populous town in the state of Telangana. It is located on the banks of the Godavari river. The City of Ramagundam gets its name from a combination of two words which are Rama and Gundam. In other words, Ramagundam is known as the city of Energy.
