The Cyberabad traffic police announced the closing of the famous Cable bridge for the time period of 3 days from 6th April at midnight to 10th April at 6 am. However, the bridge will be closed for a period of 3 days due to the inspection of the cable stay system and all the traffic would be diverted to alternative routes.
The cable bridge will be closed for an inspection and the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation would do the necessary work. During an inspection of the cable stay system, a 100-tonne crane would be positioned over the bridge near pylons P1 and P2 for inspection work, because the cranes would be occupying the carriageway.
The cable bridge is the main network to connect the Gachibowli, now the route is diverted at Dr. B.R Ambedkar Open University Road no. 45 to towards Madhapur L&O police station to cyber towers to lemon tree junction to IKEA Rotary.
The traffic coming from IKEA Rotary Jubilee Hills via cable bridge would be detoured to In orbit mall to Durgam Cheruvu, COD Junction, Ayyappa Society, Madhapur L&O Police station, Kaveri Hills junction to jubilee hills.
