The upcoming movie of the Tollywood star Dhanush reportedly has been postponed from December 2nd. The movie is bilingual and titled Sir and Vaathi is Tamil. However, the filmmakers have announced new release dates worldwide and also in Telugu and Tamil on February 17th, 2023. The movie is simultaneously made in Tamil as Vaathi. Additionally, this movie marks the Telugu Debut of Dhanush in the Telugu film industry.
The filmmakers planning the release of this movie at the festival of Maha Shivaratri. However, the movie shooting has been completed and the team is working on the post-production and promotional activities of the movie.
Sir is being produced by Surya Devara Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya under Sithara entertainments and Fortune four cinemas. While the movie is directed by Venky Alturi. The movie is based on the educational system of the country. The films feature the big actor of Tollywood Cinema Dhanush as the male lead actor and Samyuktha Menon as the female lead actress for the movie. Whereas, Sai Kumar, and Tanikella Bharani, are among others in the lead roles.
The famous GV Prakash composed the music while the cinematography is done by Dinesh Krishnan and the editing part is done by Navin Nooli.
