Tadoba Andhari Tiger reserve forest is a much visiting wildlife destination as it is one of the major national parks and sanctuaries, where the chances are spotting tigers, are high. There is a lake called Tadoba Lake, which is a perennial water source that lies in the southwest and is a barrier between the park and the farmlands of the Irai Reservoir. The Tadoba Lake whose banks sit as a small shrine to Taru, the legendary village chief, abounds with marsh crocodiles, and the dens and caverns in the dense forested hills and valleys of Chimur, Moharli, and Kolsa ranges are the home to several wild carnivores.
Moharli
Moharli- Moharli is another village whose border also serves as an entry gate for the Moharli zone of the Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve. It is located at a distance of 6.9 km from Tadoba place. One can also use the Jungle safari facility from the entry gate of this region. There is Taboda lake which is located in the middle of the Tadoba-Andhari Tiger Reserve. Around 200 species of birds are found near the lake, including water birds also.

Khosla
Khosla- One of the beautiful villages, located in the district of Chandrapur. It is situated near Tadoba which is by far the largest national park in the country and is given the name of Jewel of Vidarbha. The park is spread over an area of 1727 sq. km and is home to different varieties of species of plants and animals. It is heaven for the nature-lovers and should be a beautiful place to be visited with their beloved ones. It came into existence in the year 1995. The national park is the home to a Southern tropical dry deciduous forest and is covered with a variety of dense vegetation. It also includes the animals like Chital, Sloth Bear, Sambars, Barking Deer, Neel Gai, Chausinga, Wild Dog, Wild boar, and leopard.

Boat ride in Irai lake –another interesting thing is, the forest department offers a boating facility on the backwaters of Irai lake. This is the best activity for bird watchers and photographers. Some of the birds that can be spotted are Crested Poachard, Cotton Goose, Grey Heron, Stork Billed Kingfisher, etc. apart from this many migratory birds also be seen at this lake. If you are looking for the timings of the boat, the Boat ride Timings are 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM and the Boating is closed in the monsoons time till, July to October.

Bird Around the Lakes of Tadoba- The rivers and lakes of Tadoba are the major spots for bird watching, especially for bird lovers. Tadoba Lake is a favorite spot for raptors like Oriental honey buzzards, White-eyed buzzards, and also paradise flycatchers, Indian rollers, Indian pitta, etc. Tadoba lake can be accessed from the main gates and Irai can be done from a safeguard zone safari. Moreover, Irai lake can also be reached from outside the park.
