Shikhar Veer Singh and Nidhi Singh earn 12 lakhs per day by Selling Samosas
Street food is always been famous in our country as it is famous for different types of cuisines. Here is one inspiring story of a couple who started this business together and now earning more than their high-paying jobs. Both Nidhi and Shikhar came from wealthy backgrounds. Her father is a lawyer. And Shikhar’s father owns jewelry showrooms in Chandigarh and Ambala. But the couple wanted to do something of their own and they started Samosa Singh with their own savings.

Nidhi and Shikhar, the couple who have been married for almost 5 years decided to quit their jobs and do some startup. They both are highly educated professionals who had secured high-paying jobs in their hands. The couple met in Haryana while doing their btech in biotechnology. Shikhar completed his MTech from the Institute of life science in Hyderabad. The time when he quit his job in 2015, he was the principal scientist at Biocon. And Nidhi was earning the high-paying package of 30 LPA at a pharma company in Gurugram.
But the couple decided to quit their jobs and start something, so they both set up a shop in Bengaluru named Samosa Singha and this decision changed their life completely. However, every start-up has to face ups and downs in its journey, and that was literally tough but as a result, it is worth more than they have expected. They are now planning to launch or expand their business in the next phase of their business.
Now they are earning more than Rs 12 lakhs per month, meanwhile, they are selling worth Rs. 12 lakhs Samosas at Samosa Singh in Bangalore. In the initial phase of the startup, they needed funds to invest in this startup, so they sold off their expensive luxury dream apartment where they just lived for one day, the couple rented a factory in Bengaluru with that money.
The idea for this start-up came to Shikhar’s mind when he was studying and he wanted to sell samosas outside SBI bank. However, Nidhi advised him to concentrate on becoming a scientist. But, one day, what happens, they saw a boy crying for samosa at a food court and Shikhar was convinced that his feeling was right and Samosa was the most popular snack in India. So, they quit their jobs and shifted to Bengaluru, and opened their Samosa Singh shop.
And hence, they made their menu with different types of samosas, and the most famous are, butter chicken and Kadai Paneer samosas and now they have more than 40 stores across the country and planning to expand their business now.
So that was the inspiring story of a couple who quit their jobs and decided to do a start-up which turns into a successful business and now they are earning more than their high-paying jobs.
