Papikondalu (Papi Hills)
Papi Hills is a set of three hills that form a beautiful gorge on the Godavari River in Andhra Pradesh. The nearest place where one can stay is Kolluru village. The Papikondalu mountain range is located in Rajahmundry, AP. This beautiful place has scenic beauty and you will be amazed after seeing this beauty. It is said that the middle partition of a woman’s hair was initially named Papidi Kondalu- paidi in Telugu means the middle partition of the women’s hair. But then later it was known as Papikondalu. How to reach:
You can reach the hills, either way, running through Bhadradri Kothagudem, East Godavari, and west Godavari districts, Papikondalu can be reached by the river also. However, Boats are available every day on the banks of the Godavari to take tourists to the Papi Hills.
Best time to visit:
For tourists and all travelers, the best time to visit the place is between the month of November to the month of March. Well, you don’t need to hire anyone for guidance about the place, because the locals know more so you can ask any locals about the place, they will give you excellent information about its significance and the flora and fauna.
