Akhil Akkineni’s recent release Agent, directed by Surender Reddy, has entirely failed to impress audiences and has been a huge disappointment. The movie, which featured Malayalam superstar Mammooty in a crucial role, was a let-down, and even the producer, Anil Sunkara, apologized to fans for its poor performance.
In a surprising turn of events, the spy action thriller is now set to stream on Sony LIV from May 19th, according to an official confirmation from the streaming platform in response to a fan’s query about the OTT release date. This means that the movie will be available on OTT platforms just three weeks after its theatrical release.
The actress Sakshi Vaidya, who made her Tollywood debut with Agent, played the female lead, whereas Hip Hop Tamizha composed the music. Bollywood actor Dino Morea played the role of antagonist, and Urvasi Rautela was featured in a special song. The movie is produced under the banners of AK Entertainment and Surender 2 Cinema, and the movie story is written by the writer Vakkantham Vamsi.
