Major Movie is truly an emotional ride. The movie is worth every penny you pay. Probably one of the best biopics made in Indian cinema best one after Baag Milkha Baagh a which was released a decade back.
The movie is all about eh major Sandeep Unnikrishnan’s life and depicts what a soldier goes through in personal and professional life and how hard it is to handle them both being a soldier. Director Shashi Kiran has left everyone spellbound with his taking especially during the hostage episode which lasted for more than 1 hour. The atmosphere was electric and the Screenplay by Adivi Shesh and the writers were successful in making the audience engaged with the character.
Though it feels like cinematic liberty has taken at times, the audience’s response to the sequences revolving around ‘The Taj Hotel’ is simply superb. The audience applauded the very victory of the hero and by the end, everyone was with teary eyes the heroic death of Sandeep Unnikrishnan. One thing to say finally Do not miss ‘Major’ in theatres!
The major movie is directed by Sashi Kiran Tikka and produced by Sony Pictures India, A+S Movies, and GMB Entertainments jointly. Saiee Manjrekar played the female lead while Shobitha Dhulipala Played the key role as a hostage in the movie. Prakash Raj, Murali Sharma, and Revathi were seen in some key roles in the movie.
