Every city has something special in terms of food. But if we talk about the individual city Mumbai, the city which never sleeps, the city of dreams. Looks like you are missing out the gateway to street foods. Everywhere you go in the city, you will see the small food stalls and their mouth-watering foods. Here is the list of a few street foods which you should try at least once, your trip cannot be completed without having these.
Misal Pav– hope you have definitely heard of this dish, this is very famous in the city as well as in the state. If you visit Mumbai and missed it out then the trip isn’t worth it. Misal Pav consists of the spicy gravy within the Pav. The Pav is slathered with butter as a snack or for breakfast or anytime you want to eat, it is easily available across the whole city.

Sev Puri is made with lots of crisp fried puris which are filled or stuffed with onions, boiled potatoes, and three types of chutneys- tamarind, chili, and garlic and topped with lots of Sev. Ragda Pattice– now come to the delicious name of the food Ragda, the name itself has a taste of food. It is one of the most popular food in Mumbai. It is made by soaking white peas overnight and then mashing and frying them with onions, tomatoes, and spices for making curry. The patties are made from boiled mashed potatoes. The patties are then filled with Ragda and garnished with onions, coriander, and spicy chutneys. It is just amazing food, must say.
Kanda Batata Vada
Kanda Batata Vada- delicious, finger-licking food, the Kanda batata vada means Onion potatoes. This delicious amazing food you can find anywhere in the city, every stall has this food. Kanda Bhajji- we North Indians called it onion pakoda because it is filled with onion and deep fry it, in Mumbai it is called the name of Kanda Bhajji same as north, the onion pakoda, both are same only the difference is in the name. It mostly serves at the time of the rainy season but can be found anywhere throughout the year.
