There are 209 billionaires in India. This is an increase of 50 from the previous year. And, while we’re all familiar with the Ambanis and Adanis, here’s a list of some of India’s newest billionaires.
Nikhil Kamath
With his brother Nitin Kamath, the 34-year-old co-founded Zerodha, India’s largest stock brokerage firm by amount. His net worth is $1.9 billion (14,000 crores), according to the Hurun Global Rich List 2021.
True Beacon, an asset management firm, was also co-founded by the duo.
