Buttermilk (Chaas)

It is the most common and one of the favorite drinks for people in India. 

It not only provides you with hydration but is also very good for the gut. Buttermilk is full of probiotic bacteria which helps in better gut health.

Probiotic bacteria are a type of bacteria that is present in your stomach and it helps in the digestion of your food.

You can prepare it by mixing some water with curd and by adding a pinch of salt. You can consume it like this or, you can also add spices to it if you want to add more taste to it.

You can make it more interesting by adding some chili pieces, coriander, curry leaves, ginger, etc.

You can also add a pinch of pepper powder to the top if you want to and you skip chili if you don’t want more spice. 

Keep it aside for at least 15 minutes to let the items mix properly and give good flavors.

Aam Panna

It is a delicious drink made from raw mangoes. It can cool down your body and also have many nutrients in it. So, it’s very good for your health.

To make this take a raw mango and boil it until it gets soft. Squeeze the pulp out of it after softening. Now add enough water to it and cumin powder and mint leave to add more flavor.

This is famous in Maharashtra. So, it not only gives hydration but also keeps you energetic throughout the day.

Sattu sharbat

Sattu sharbat is made from sattu flour. It helps you to keep hydrated even on the sunniest days.

It is a favorite drink in Bihar. Its specialty is it not only provides you hydration but also has protein in it. So, it can act as a protein drink too.

All you have to do is to add some water and sugar or jaggery to the sattu powder. Your sattu sharbat is ready to consume.

Coconut water
