MS Dhoni has bought a Nissan Jonga that was previously used by the Indian Army
Former captain of the Indian Cricket Team, MS Dhoni has added a vintage 20 year ‘NISSAN JONGA’ to his car collection which was manufactured in 1999 and previously used b Indian Army. Captain Cool recently bought a Nissan Jonga 1 Ton which has been restored and brought to life by SD Offroaders Nakodar, a restoration house based out of Jalandhar, Punjab.
Nissan Jonga, a long-forgotten but capable military vehicle meant to take on the toughest terrains is making a comeback in the public memory thanks to the internet and obviously, it’s new famous owner, MS Dhoni. While Dhoni’s love for cars and bikes isn’t new and many may consider Jonga as just another car in his garage, this SUV is a special one. The Jonga was not for private buyers and hence it is not that easy to spot unlike other military cars like the Maruti Suzuki Gypsy.
MS Dhoni shared an adorable video which shows him cleaning the vehicle with his daughter. In the video, which was posted to Instagram this evening, Dhoni, along with his 4-year-old daughter Ziva, is seen washing the new car carefully. “A little help always goes a long way specially when you realise it’s a big vehicle,” wrote MS Dhoni while sharing the sweet video on Instagram.
